Changing the Way we Think and Feel about Failure with Alena Chapman

535: Changing the Way we Think and Feel about Failure with Alena Chapman

In today’s show, we speak with Alena Chapman, best-selllng author, motivational speaker, and creator of The Savvy Sisterhood. Throughout life we deal with ups and downs, and how we deal with those ups and downs define us at our core.  In order to truly possess the energy we call success, we must begin by changing our perspective when it comes to failure and regret. We all know the last thing we want to do is to have failure and regret, but as we all know, life happens, and it’s time for people to change their perspective on it. But better yet, see “failure” for what it is not what we thought it was. We discuss how feelings of regret limit us in what we want to do and Alena offers ways in which we can switch failure into something positive. It can be really easy to shut down and stop our progress due to our perceived shortcomings but when we recognize that these are empty feelings and don’t serve us, it opens up new possibilities we previously thought we didn’t have access to.
